Mahindra & Mahindra formally introduced the BE 6e and XEV 9e at the "Unlimit India" event in Chennai, marking a significant milestone in the company's electric vehicle strategy. Built on the innovative INGLO platform, these models represent the new flagship EVs in Mahindra's lineup, symbolizing the brand's commitment to sustainable mobility.

The BE 6e, formerly known as the BE 05, is a fully electric five-seater coupe SUV that embodies Mahindra's dedication to innovative design and cutting-edge technology. It showcases a prominent new 'BE' logo, along with sleek C-shaped LED DRLs surrounding the headlamps and a distinctive glass roof. The interior is equally impressive, boasting a driver-centric layout featuring a twin-spoke steering wheel adorned with an illuminated logo and dual-screen displays that offer a contemporary and functional user experience.

The cabin is meticulously crafted to provide an exceptional user experience, featuring intuitive controls and an expansive sense of space. Technological advancements integrated into the Mahindra BE 6e encompass wireless charging capabilities for electronic devices, seamless wireless connectivity with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, and customizable ambient lighting to enhance the overall ambiance. Additionally, a Type-C charging port facilitates rapid connectivity, while the ventilated and power-adjustable front seats ensure utmost comfort during journeys.

The Mahindra BE 6e employs brake-by-wire technology, enabling it to decelerate from 100 kmph to zero within a mere 40 meters. Simultaneously, this technology enhances brake recuperation potential by 18%, thereby extending the vehicle's range. The 79 kWh battery pack delivers an ARAI-certified range of 682 kilometers on a single charge. Furthermore, Mahindra guarantees a range exceeding 500 kilometers per charge, even with the air conditioning activated while driving in metropolitan areas. It is important to note that the quoted price excludes the cost of the charger and installation. Deliveries of the vehicle are anticipated to commence by the end of February-March 2025.
