Following an extended period, Skoda India has officially introduced the all-new Kylaq SUV in the Indian market. Last month, the company launched only the base variant, priced at ₹9.21 lakh (on-road, Mumbai). The complete pricing structure for the SUV is now available, and we present the on-road prices in India's six largest cities.
Pricing strategy
The recently introduced Skoda Kylaq is offered in four distinct trim levels: Classic, Signature, Signature+, and Prestige. The pricing below reflects the on-road costs across various cities, ranging from the base Classic MT to the top-of-the-line Prestige AT.
Features
Skoda's Kylaq marks its entry into the competitive sub-4-meter SUV market, a segment currently dominated by established models such as the Maruti Brezza, Tata Nexon, and Mahindra XUV300. To differentiate itself from strong competitors, the Kylaq offers a comprehensive feature set, including ventilated seats, a 10-inch touchscreen infotainment system, a digital instrument cluster, a power-adjustable driver's seat, a six-speaker surround sound system, wireless charging, and wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay integration
Skoda Kyaq Pricing and Engine Specifications
Škoda has introduced the new Kylaq with a single engine option: a 1.0-liter turbocharged petrol engine producing 113 bhp and 178 Nm of torque. This engine is available with manual and torque converter automatic transmissions. While the engine displacement is smaller than competitors', it is a TSI unit, offering superior power delivery. Furthermore, the Kylaq's smaller SUV size differentiates it from the competition.
