The 2024 Honda Amaze lacks certain features available in the Maruti Suzuki Dzire.

The third-generation Honda Amaze compact sedan will launch in the Indian market today, directly competing with the 2024 Maruti Suzuki Dzire.

Honda Cars India will introduce the new Honda Amaze today, directly competing with the 2024 Maruti Suzuki Dzire in the compact sedan market segment.

The Amaze, launched today, represents the third generation of this model, while the Dzire, introduced last month, marks its fourth generation.

Generational transitions typically involve significant enhancements, and both vehicles have undergone substantial updates.  Nevertheless, the new Dzire offers certain features absent in the 2024 Amaze.

Power sunroof.

It is regrettable, but factual: the new Dzire offers an electric sunroof, a feature absent in the 2024 Amaze.  This omission may prove detrimental to Honda, given Indian consumers' demonstrated preference for sunroofs.

360-degree camera system

The 2024 Dzire model includes a 360-degree camera; however, the new Amaze model offers a lane watch camera instead.

Compressed Natural Gas option.

The Maruti Suzuki Dzire's factory-installed CNG option is a key factor contributing to its substantial 61% market share in the compact sedan segment.

Conversely, the Honda Amaze has not previously offered a factory-installed CNG option. While CNG reduces operating costs, Honda's future plans regarding the availability of such kits in their vehicles remain uncertain.

The product has achieved a five-star safety rating.

The new Dzire has achieved a 5-star safety rating from Global NCAP, marking a significant first for Maruti Suzuki vehicles.
